Task Oriented Workshops Keep You Running Better

Organize, Optimize and Protect Your PC and Yourself (1.2 CEUs)

4 Wednesdays March 10 - 31
5:30PM - 8:30PM
$29

Is your computer jam-packed with old files, graphics and software?
Would you like to know how to troubleshoot, organize and clean up your system?
Did you know that unseen spam can be slowing down your computer?
Do you think the only way to have a better computer use experience is to take your system to "the nerd pool" or shell out cash for a new one?

This class is designed to improve your computer skills and explain how you can save money by optimizing your current system.

We'll explain:

  • the different file types and addresses
  • how to find files you thought were lost
  • how to determine which files are safe to delete, copy and move
  • how to maintain, organize and troubleshoot your hard disk and much more
  • how to protect your computer and yourself from spam, spyware, viruses and identity theft

Instructor, Don Branstetter, has experience using and training others to use all Windows Operating Systems including XP, VISTA, and Win7. This class will be taught using Windows XP.  Information will be shared on how to translate what's taught to the newer operating systems if students in class need that.

It's recommended that you are familiar with working in Windows in order to get the most from this class.
