June 2007 - Marathon Technology Group Selected Official IT Managed Services Provider For Fort Wayne Mad Ants

“The Fort Wayne Mad Ants, a development team for the NBA, picked us to be their official IT folks. We’re working for the NBA!! I couldn’t be more honored any more than that!”  Don Branstetter, president, Marathon Technology Group, responding after hearing the news that his company had been named by Jeff Potter, President, The Fort Wayne Mad Ants to handle the team’s network and computer design and support.

The Fort Wayne based IT company is designing the network that is responsible for keeping The Mad Ants management, staff, coach and players  free from computer headaches, hackers, and other harmful things. The Windows 2003 server-based network will support 10 users in house. The network will also allow staff to work remotely from anywhere around the world.

“We’ve done some unique things over the years, but this is really cool,” Branstetter said. “All our clients are important to us. It’s just nice to know that a brand new team, a brand new company here in Fort Wayne knows about how we do things and trusted us to take care of them. I hope everybody in Fort Wayne supports these guys.  Fort Wayne’s part of the NBA. Now so are we!”
